Introducing Mouf Off’s original webcomic, Things That Make You You Go…AHHH!(TTMYGA)

A little history…
When I was in grade school, I used to doodle a lot–so much so that it got me in trouble. You would not believe how many sketchbooks were confiscated by frustrated teachers who just wanted me to pay attention (but if you’re anything like me, then you know creative minds tend to wander).

As a kid, I was obsessed (like OBSESSED) with comics, cartoons, or anything drawn and colorful.
[insert Archie comic stash “peep my archie comic stash”] Eventually, I dabbled in creating my own characters and stories, though most were just caricatures of my friends and family.

While I’m fairly decent at drawing, stick figures were my medium of choice. They are quick, easy to manipulate, and very expressive (despite being incredibly basic). I had a small library (can’t remember where most of this stuff is anymore) of stick figure comics I’d drafted and shared among my classmates. One of my favorites (that apparently withstood the tests of time–god how sad am I?), was ‘Things That Make You Go…AHHH!”

TTMYGA was a little book of comics sparked by conversations with my friend Lauren. Each panel illustrates a moment in life that makes you want to scream (and trust me, there are plenty). Now that I’m older, and still screaming, I figured, ‘hey, why not share this with the world (blogosphere)?’ and thus, the webcomic was born.
So read up, laugh, enjoy, and share! There is so much more to come. The webcomic will update three times per week (MWF) so be sure to come back as often as you can! All comics will be archived here
